Bastion boat and engine power and engine power in general vs mass.
As I really enjoy the smaller T4 ships, I went and got the bastion boat. But so far I am disappointed in it. The engine power is only 90000. The wiki stated 180000 and even with funnels and air intakes its a slow boat like the BK. My favourite ship remains the Brawler.

In terms of engine power and mass in general. There must be some hidden modifiers in the game. Because the power needed and the mass of ships seems all over the place. My friend in his Corsair can run fast even without any air intakes or funnels. Despite the mass in very high. All ship frames of the same material.

yeah the bastion is kind of a dud. The brawler is a fun boat, sort of a fatter scorpena

all boat hulls have a drag value as well which is why some boats can be heavy and still be fast while others will never break 100

The fun part is the AI is basically flying around in the Bastion. :D
