PC and PS5 Crossplay - How to add a friend?

Hi, servers finally up...thank god
Now to my problem, my friend has the game on PS5 and we tried to play co-op but it doesn't work at all

He tried to add me with my in-game username but it didn't work, so I tried it and found out, that he had no "Number code" in his name
Also that on ps5 he has the option to deactivate and active Crossplay which is missing on pc?

I thought Crossplay is also available on early access or did we something wrong
Hope that someone can explain how it works.

Can at least someone confirms if crossplay is currently unavaible....according to offical reddit site and forum, no one has any problems with that and ppl can play together without any problems

We are using the name with "#code" and he cant find me
On PS5 he doesnt even have the numeric code in his name

Yes, we also tried using account names. I have name with "#code" (steam), a friend has a name without numbers (ps5). It didn't work.

Then we tried to use the names of the characters and it worked.

It may also be worth checking that the "Game" -> "Disable Crossplay" setting is unchecked for the player on the ps5 and that you have selected the same gateway on the start screen.
