Which one to buy PC 1 or PC 2?

I have never played planet coaster before, but it looks fun. It reminds me of Theme Park from back in the day.

I have no preconceived notions of the game since I've never played it. I wont be missing anything that many of you seem to be missing in PC 2.

That being said is PC 1 or PC 2 the best one to purchase for a new player?

At the moment, i think PC2 is buggy. People have reported bugs about people not going onto rides, graphical issues, etc. PC1 has been out longer and is more stable. So at this time, until PC2 is patched, PC1 is more stable.

For a better building experience with more options right now with a huge selection of stuff in the workshop Planet Coaster 1 on PC especially with a sale etc.

PC2 has the water park stuff and better lighting especially for indoor dark rides but it also clearly has a lot of issues right now relating to it being made for consoles.

Currently: Planet Coaster 1 with DLCs and many Workshop items the community made. Most complete and stable game.
Future: Planet Coaster 2 after several updates/patches and DLC releases. Planet Coaster 2 is still in its early release stages so there will still be bugs and features that would need to be patched/improved (I'm still trying to get used to the new pathing system). But if you love Water Parks then PC2 is the game to get.

get PC 1, really fun and PC 2 is fun but wait til it goes on sale, (if it ever does)

PC2 is an overall upgrade from PC1. The pathing adjustments and tools alone make it better. Anyone saying otherwise is 1 of 2 reasons:

Trying to play the game with outdated drivers or incompatible hardware
PC2 missing a few things like custom billboards and music, Restaurants/hotels

You should get PC1, it is very fun and you will probably be able to get it with huge discount. Like that, when you will finish PC1, you will probably be able to buy PC2 at a lesser price, with less bug, and more feature :)
