Game not Launching on High End PC, whats going on?

Edit: Yes I know my PC is supposed to be mid-range by now. But it's 5 years old at this point and still runs every game on Ultra or high settings even new ones. I consider that high End.

Edit 2: My CPU is spiking al the way to the Top on launch. Might that be an Issue?

Drivers and Windows are up to
date and I tried almost every common fix:
- compatibility mode,
- Run as Admin
- Uninstall and Reinstall Game and Steam.
- I even turned off the overclocking on my CPU
- Tried starting the game in windowed mode with -windowed
- Uninstalled every other game to create Hard Drive space

definitly updated your boards driver ? that was my issue for helldivers 2

Seems to a known, common issue. Lots of people can't launch with no clear explanation. I've already refunded.

It was a couple years ago, But I can run literally every game on Ultra so this one shouldn't be an issue.

I don't want to refund, I've been looking forward to playing this game for months now. Even purchased the deluxe in the pre-order for the extra rides. But if it isn't running soon I will refund because an unplayable game is worth nothing.

I updated all the drivers I could find an update for in Device Manager

Nope, just an instant crash and then the "Your game has crashed, submit to frontier" window.

So.. You're trying to run the game @ 1440P with a 2080? And are wondering why you crash?

Yea, that is a low end pc. I have a better pc then that i bought last year, and is a year old already. My pc is considered mid tier, according to the salesman that told me at the store at that time though. Might be low end now.

OP does not recognize that things depreciate over time. What was once high end can be low end in 5 years..wait they did say 5 years old did they not?

People still think the 1080TI is high end in 2024, and It's just mind boggling.

The 3070, get this, is near 10% more powerful than a 2080. I just don't understand how people come to these conclusions. And on top of that a threadripper... Absolute gag.

While I agree it’s got a bit personal I think it’s his rig also. See someone who had a 1030 2gb and couldn’t understand why it didn’t run. It’s a shame I want people to enjoy the game!

Whilst I have a low end PC and not the greatest hardware in the world, I am also having the same issue.
How come I can play all the Planet games on the highest settings with perfect performance but can’t even get PC2 to open? Genuine question.
I am seeing this is a common occurrence with the release of PC2 so need to see if there’s a fix
