We have forums for a Doctor Who game that is no longer in store, so why not use it to discuss the series?

Let's start with something controversial? What did you think about the 13th Doctor? From last season?

Personally I liked it, but I found it the weakest of the current series. The actress, Jodie Whittaker, is wonderful, but the script didn't captivate me so much. I think Chris Chibnall (need to say I loved his work at Torchwood) tried too hard to give the show a new identity and ended up not putting in aspects that fans like, such as races and classic characters.

The main enemy of the season, Tim Shaw, didn't convince me either. It didn't seem all that surprising and I don't think it was a good choice trying to put it on the big villain level.

I feel the need to say that I consider "Rosa" one of the best episodes in the series. Doctor Who's historical episodes tend to be good, and this one is no different, and it sure was my favorite of the season.

Anyway, I don't think Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall are bad at what they do. But Chris Chibnall needs to use more of the vast mythology Doctor Who has. New Year's special has already done that and put a Dalek on. There is a picture of next season showing the Doctor with a Judoon. I really think next season will be great.

This is all just my opinion. Feel free to agree or disagree.

IMO most Dr Who episodes are devoid of creativity, they are far too often based in the UK in current time or not distant past. And they have a tendency to rehash the same old stories, people getting overtaken by entities is the biggest culprit.

I haven't watched the latest series though so can't comment yet on whether Jodie Whittacker is any good, but half the doctors are such oddballs or wet rags that I doubt she'd be any worse.

Next Dr Who should be Jason Statham lol, kick some alien butt. Seriously though, Christopher Eccleston was my new favorite since Baker.

Well she is on the average level for me but she did kind of improve a bit on the first epsiode of season 12. But the problem is the script is ruining her character

I've seen the series now, she's ok, I'm not mad about the thick accent - it's too much of a character change. Too many companions. There's too much political correctness, it's in your face.

I'd like to see a return to 1 companion only and less soap opera, not interested in the companions family.

Not too crazy about Doctor Karen, also wish I could un-see The Timeless Children episode such a terrible recon to already established lore. I asked this question after Jodie's first season and now that we've seen it all I claim that Chris Chibnall's era really is the weakest of all. The first season was weak and dull, the second started out interesting, but the recon that timeless child was has become my biggest disappointment with the franchise to date.

The third season even pleased me, Jodie's last episode was incredible, bringing so many elements from the classic series made me emotional.

Yeah her final episode was great. Pretty much the only best. I will cut some slack for Flux since it was a fun season
