Does anything remove mind control?

There are some effects that say they remove negative mental effects, but not much that specifically mentions mind control.

Ranger sword attack to kill them if its a Sectoid and Sectoids will raise a dead advent soldier if you kill one many times rather than mind control you, Flashbangs, and there is a an ability one class has that if they move within a certain distance of the mind controlled soldier it will cancel it, but I cannot remember which one. I thinks it's a soldier with Psionics.

I forgot that if you are really desperate you can throw a mimic beacon and they will try to mind control it rather than you. If your soldier is already mind controlled, then they will attack the beacon if they can see it, buying you time to eliminate the enemy controlling your soldier.

Does revival protocol not work then? since it says negative mental debuffs.

Nope. Revival protocol will fix disorient, stun, or unconscious. Only way to end mind control is kill or disable the controlling alien or use solace. Soldiers with a level 2 or 3 bond can clear each other's mind control in the base game, not sure about LWotC.

The best way to remove MC is to apply a disorient \ stun effect on the person or thing that caused it.

So basically flash bangs.
Warlock for example is immune - so here is where Freeze grenades come in !

Use assault stunguns if you cant flashbang the target, in LWOTC they added the ability to stock strike your teammates to stun them without the need for assaults to be nearby. Esp good when its the Warlock that cannot be stunned.

Flashbangs do. Specifically, flashbang the creature that is causing the mind control and it will break instantly.

If you're not playing while using large amounts of flashbangs anyway, I question your judgement.
