Problem with Advent Network Tower

So, I've started to Liberate a region, and I go through all the steps (first mission, second, so on), and I get the ADVENT Network Tower mission, and I send my five person squad to infiltrate and... nothing. Nothing happens at all. It just continues to scan non-stop with no results. My squad reads at 200% infiltrated and still nothing. No launch, nada. I am missing something here? Is there a step by step process I didn't complete properly? Please help.

First, are you running LW2 or LWOTC? I've played multiple versions/variants of LW2 without issue, but I've never tested LWOTC so I can't say how stable it is.

Second, if this is LW2 its a sure sign that something is corrupt somewhere. Unfortunately, no way to know where exactly. The only way for sure to get rid of it is to do a full clean install of the game, then you can try reloading the current save, but there's no garuntee that the problem isn't "baked in".

The only way to know for sure is to start a new campaign and see if its fixed at that point.

If you're running LWOTC you'd have to check their forums, pavonis forums I think has a section for it, including bugs and known issues.

Go to Library home. and right click on x-com 2.
Go to Properties.
Click on Verify File Integrity. This will detect any corrupted files.
As mentioned, this is for LW2; no idea about LWotC.

And I forgot to ask ... are you running any mods? I have a dozen going, and if I try to load a saved game without activating all the mods, the game usually crashes my computer and I have to reboot.

I'm running a whole whack of mods actually but and I am playing long war of the chosen, but I this is the first time I've tried liberation so I don't know if that's the issue. I'll do the search for the corrupt files and I'll see if that helps.

To point out the obvious - this mission won't launch on its own. After it hits 100% you have to select it and then select launch from the menu that appears.

Sounds like you aren't getting the option in the menu. But just in case...

Not exactly. What happens is, I sent men filtration squad, I then scan wait for it to get to 100% but then when I click on launch mission I just get taken to Squad select again. As an experiment one time, I just sent another infiltration team just to see what happened, and then it says continue infiltration or abort. That's what's happening. Now I contacted pravonis and they don't maintain Long War of the Chosen, but they did direct me to the discord channel for it and I was talking with somewhere there today. I have validated the game files, nothing seems corrupt, and I started a new campaign. So, I'm now just running through it again to see what happens. If I still can't access it I'll update everybody and if it works then I'll let everyone know too. No one else seems to be having this problem so I guess it's just maybe something I did.

Yes, it was a corrupted install. So I deleted all files and redownloaded the mod.
