As for actions besides moving, that is dependent on 'covering fire' not 'ever vigilant'.
Be aware that 'ever vigilant' does not kick in until your turn ends. Also, it will not kick in if your soldier has taken some free actions, like picking up loot, opening doors, ect. Movement only.
I didn't think of Shadowstep because I don't there is notice that pops up like Lightning Reflexes.
Also Najas are the most vulnerable, but can be more problematic due to them having squadsight and sniper rifles. Just keep that in mind.
I'm not sure if I'm getting at something here...♥♥♥♥ sneks I suppose. They annoying.
You should love Techinicals then. Nothing smells better than burnt sneks. 🔥🐍🔥
It will probably drag your fps down to about 10 with all the fires.
