The game seems highly modable, even rivaling things like the TES or FO series from Bethesda. To the point where TC's can simply be switched on and off, which is almost unheard of.
That's garbage. X-Com Apoc had mutiple squads able to infiltrate an area.
6 units vs 12 aliens.
12 units vs 24 aliens.
At the end of the day, it's not all that different. Just more chaos and clutter.
To be fair, I'm already having thoughts of multiple flying bases, with their own setups, and rangers, and stuff.... drooooooooooool modders, don't let me down.
Larger maps, larger squad sizes, more enemies, leads to different tactics and strategy.
Less is not good in this instance, but the maps would have needed to be bigger in EU/EW for it to actually be useful. Maneuvers are possible in Xenonauts/original xcom/etc because of how large the maps were.
