skip animations and cutscenes?

Having to repeat missions multiple times, and being forced to watch the ingame cutscenes, or hear the AI talk to you about 'you need to do this' 'oh no, this is going to happen' multiple times without a way to skip it is getting me close to throwing something out of frustration.

Is there any way to skip this ♥♥♥♥?

There's mods (like stop wasting my time mod) that can help here. Don't know about repeating missions over and over since ironman is only way to XCOM.

Or maybe you meant to turn off the tutorial?

The same goes for stopping the game from Wrenching the camera out of my hands, I konw thats the unit I gave commands to, you dont need to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ center the camera on her because I moved her.

Doesn't work most of the time. A majority of these forced camera moves and story info are absolutely unskippable. Maybe you should know that before posting.

Use the "Stop wasting my time" mod. It helps a bit. The game remains broken though.

Escape key, why didnt I think of that? Oh most knowledgeable teacher, tell me more about this 'escape key' I never thought to ever press it in my life.

That's assuming the OP wasn't refering to the cutscenes. Given how "Stop Wasting My Time" and "Quiet, Bradford" are some of the top subscribed mods, and there's a menu option to disable the ambiant comms messages, I'd assumed the OP had seen them. If not...

Tripple A developers needs to stop stroking their voice actors and animators. Gamers don't give a damndest dang about how much they were paid or how famous they are, they just don't wanna be forced to rewatch things over and over.

I think the glam shots are a little out of hand myself. Some is ok,but I like to play games not watch them so much.

There's plenty of mods out there that can disable those scenes. Instead of trawling the forums for threads to drag back to light, spend the time actually solving the problem.

I mean, if you wanted to wait six years to announce to the entire board how much of a needy little child you are to have Daddy Sirus google how to disable the tutorial, press the escape key, you do you buddy.

Five posts above your call for attention is the solution for the other scenes you can't skip. You've not posted in this thread before, so this is literally just to annoy me.

In the options setting there is "zip mode" This will greatly speed up the game.
