Can you rush a research you're not currently doing?
Can you buy the rush at any time and still benefit from it when you actually do the research or will it only work if you are actively doing it atm?

You can buy it at any time and it will reduce the remaining days required.

you can buy half the remaining research from the black market for available researches yes.

but if you want to rush a research instantly with a quest terminal hack, its only the current research.

I presume the game only ever offers rushes for researches you currently have and not for ones you don't have yet? Just making sure
