Safely removing mods

Hey guys

I think I may have installed too many mods. Loading times are immense. Any chance I can remove the mods without corrupting my save file?

I would only remove cosmetics that I dont need.

Cosmetics can be safely removed mid-campaign, although some of your troopers may start wearing the default item for that part.

Look for "Remove Missing Mods" on the Workshop, both WotC and base game versions available.

Well, it didnt work just removing them from the launcher. In the game, they are still there. Loading times still horrendous

If you're using the Firaxis Launcher read the "Mods not activating/deactivating properly in WOTC" section of Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?
