Must have caught the RNG on a good day ;)
Not sure if the Elite Mutons have a similiar skill or not, they've always seemed too scary to run a soldier in for a melee attack. I've just always made sure to keep as much distance away from them as possible. Those things are like the Hulk running at you
I HAVE however made the mistake to run in on a Viper (early game). I figured I'd just Parry, and it would move to a square to flank and shoot the next turn. Instead, it wrapped it self around the Templar without even needing to use the tongue attack. No biggy really, easy enough to deal with. Too bad the truck next to them exploded at the end of the aliens turn, killing both the Viper and the Templar, also ending the mission because it was the last alien on the map. I was pretty dumbfounded by that one...
In my defense, it worked five straight times before the last one decided enough was enough.
100% dodge? How did you manage to do that?
covert ops, pcs and armor i think
Nice. I'll have to try that sometime.
