Reaper Shadow / Concealment glitch/bug

Hey there,
not entirely sure whats causing it, but i've had it several times that my reaper had an increased spotting range, like normal concealment, and got spotted easily.
The only cause i can think of is the "Silent Killer" perk thats preventing an otherwise revealing shot. Sadly couldn't test it but lost my colonel reaper to 3 ambushing cryssalids from one screen away.

I've had this happen as well but I'm not sure what causes it. Silent Killer doesnt cause it to happen, atleast not as mechanic (maybe a bug?).
