XCOM 2
Reapers target definition ability vs Assassin?
Does the reapers target definition ability work on the assassin or can she still turn invisible and hide from you? I assume it wont work on her because then the assassin would be too easy

When she uses invisibility, it does not work. When she runs away after hitting one of your soldiers, it does.

As far as I know it does work when she uses her Vanish.

I had her marked once but later she vanished and would not appear as marked, so I had to track her down again. My last encounter with her has only lasted two rounds so I had no chance to check if that happened again.

Can we get a Dev to answer this with a concrete response?
A wasted AP point is a big deal on your reaper.

Wasted? The ability on its own is just great in normal missions. Spot enemy pods and keep roaming with your reaper to reveal most if not all enemies can trivialize non timed missions.

That ability is one of the best in the entire game. Dunno why you'd call it wasted even if it didnt work on the Assassin.
