Shen's Last Gift DLC Mission not occuring?

I have played thru 2 campaigns (1 Vanilla and 1 Long War 2 campaigns) without the DLC mission, Lost Tower, occuring...

Anyone encountered this problem?

Should appear very early into your campaign, unless you haven't selected the DLC when you started the campaign.

Just no luck i guess.... got my alien nest mission on December while playing LW2(100+ hours campaign) i was desperate to get that mission.

Nope. 12 missions in. Still nothing. Selected both Aliens Hunter DLC and Shen's Last Gift DLC.

Got the Alien Hunter's Weapon set between mission 2 ~ 3.

Any requirements to start the mission for Shen's last gift?

No requirements. Around 4-6 weeks you'll introduced by a cutscene. After a short time passed, you can scan a position of the tower.

If you own the DLC's and didn't activated them, he introductions missions won't appear.

You can build Alien Hunter weapons from the beginning and you will encooounter them after a few missions. Shen's mission can't played. You won't get a free Mec, instead you have to spend ressources in the proving ground to build one.

What are you playing now? LW2 or vanilla? The experience differs greatly due to changes by Pavonis.

What are the introduction missions? Are you referring to the Lost Tower mission?

You can spawn the mission with a console command.

So from your advice, if I have not encounter either The Nest or The Lost Towers, I can try spawning the missions via console command after May, game time?

You can spawn them in day one If you really wanted to but because of the difficulty and the fact it is supossed to spawn after May, I suggest you do not worry about it until you hit Juli/August.

Okay. This is strange.

I hit May, and I finally got the Lost Towers mission. Was happy, did it successfully and unlocked SPARKS.

Couple weeks later, in Mid-May, I got the same mission again. Bugged? Should I do the mission again?

I decided to make a save file, reload a previous save, and ignore it for the moment to prevent the game from crashing.

You can do the spark mission again without any technical issues the alien hunter mission is the one you should never repeat.

As the spark mission is a POI reward and alternative POI rewards include stuff like ranked soldiers, staff and rookies. I personally have no problem with repeating the mission. But that is all up to you. Ignore it or complete it as you wish.
