Not a Scratch on Her achievement help? Please?
I'll note what I have going on since I searched in the discussions and I found that someone posted that someone else should lock the FPS to 30, rather than have it at 60.

But I don't know if that's the case anymore.

Is there a bug? Glitch? Something wrong with the game in general?

I ask because I did in fact make sure that I hit no zombies/Haunted. And there was no blood spatter when hitting objects that weren't the Haunted. Yet when I reached the end of the segment, the achievement is supposed to pop up when you see Ruvik in the cutscene, right? Or is the Steam version different and it awards it when you go to the Chapter Transition Screen?

I'm curious because I've been trying to really get it, and if anyone asks, I do have the Difficulty on Nightmare because I just....love how much Ammo you can keep or save by just having the Brass Knuckles equipment. Its super fun to use all the time! Makes you really feel like One Punch Man with most enemies you meet, but makes you feel like Little Mac with plenty of Star Uppercuts to use when it comes to significant enemies like the Amalgam in the Parking area.

So is there any advice that's applicable?

It's been ages since I did it but I think you're not supposed to hit <anything>.

The game hasn't been patched since then so it should still work, but it is finnicky to say the least.

If I had an electron from a penny for every time i tried to get this one, i could single handidly afford to pay to install hydrogen fuel cell power in every household on the planet.

Got the achievement a couple of days ago.
You only need to avoid the "zombie":
Evading both the car and zombie seem physically impossible( especially when you're forced to ram into car directly form the start)
I was at 30fps+back_bar, but I don't know if this really have an impact.
It popped during the cutscene.
If it don't, alt+f4 to quit the game:
this prevent it to save over your auto-save and having to redo the whole chapter.

Based on what you said, I was finding i had to clip a haunted or 2 to avoid the cars, next I'll just run the cars down.

I looked up the acheivement requirement on The Evil Within Wiki and you can hit cars but not zombies, its really weird.

Alright, awesome, so it still pops during the cutscene for the PC version, thanks for the context of when it pops!
And as...oddly stated before, someone was on the 30 FPS Lock setting when they got it. I'm using the 60FPS thingy. So there must be a bug involving this achievement not popping when at 60 FPS or something.
Alt+F4 to quickly quit the game? Oooo! Definitely will keep that Key combo in mind! That'll be super handy!

I know this feeling all too well now because the game is being a butthead. But from context of what was said above, it seems that a 30 FPS lock is required since 60 FPS seems to screw with the game to create a bug that just simply won't give the achievement to you, even if you didn't hit any Haunted/Zombies.

I only meant to quit the game before it reach the chapter completion screen.
Since there is no option available during cutscene...

Wonder which will happen first...Hydrogen fuel cells go mainstream, mankind invents its first FTL propulsion system for spacecraft, we get an Evil Within 3 or an Alan Wake 2...or I get this acheivement, lol.

There is some math quirks with the framerate. Physics and enemy behavior seems to be subtly impacted. Like I'm fairly certain enemy animation recovery time on some things is a bit quicker at 60.

The game was designed through and through around 30, and when they patched in the option for 60 I don't think they thoroughly tested everything that could be impacted.

That occurs right before HL episode 3.

Got it!! I got it! It is in fact tethered to the Framerate!

Currently Alan Wake-ing, but started another EW playthrough...I think playthrough 200+ times now? Ive lost count. I'll try it with my FPS at 60 and only mow down cars, then repeat with it at 30 fps if I don't get it.
