Is performance issue going to make you buy this on console?

If you were planning on getting this for Steam are you thinking of getting it on xbox/ps5 since the demo performs poorly on PC?

Do you think Atlus will be able to fix it before launch?

I only have a pc , a 5 year old pc with an Rtx 2070 super,Ryzen 5600x , 16 GB DDR4,1080p 144hz . For me the game runs well at max with 150% rendering I get 60-100 fps, the AA in the game is not good so I'm forcing AA in the Nvidia control panel .
With the [Special K] Performance fix mod the performance is even better

Was hoping to be able to play it on steam deck but given how poorly the demo runs I'm not holding my breath. I'll still get it on PC though, but I might wait for a sale.

Probably on PS5 it will run easy 60fps with no problems at all , like any other game it releases in console with almost 0 problems and smooth when u spin the camera arround.

so at the end of the day a 400$ console will run the game better than average PC , just because they lazy on the optimization as they allways do , then we add denuvo to the PC versions and to play as the same lvl as a console you need a 2000$+ PC to play the same tittle and still probably will have stuttering or some problems on PC that console doesnt have.

this is thanks to those kids that run arround Steam saying thanks to devs for denuvo add and all this nonsense they preach.

PC gaming should look much better than consoles , with more options in terms of optimization or graphics and ofc the extra benefit of modding the game with nexusmods etc to add stuff or change things.

instead lately a 5 times more xpensive PC cant run games properly , so a cheap console does the job and PC doesnt.

Play DEMO on PC not seeing any performance issue and the long loading screen time from TGS has been fixed.

Game seems to be optimized for lower end PCs or something as mine is garbage (gtx 960 gpu) and the game runs smoothly with only a bit of barely noticeable slowdown.

Honestly it could be due to AMD CPU..

I run Intel CPU (yes the infamous one that has a melting issue) and Nvidia GPU and it runs with SpecialK.

These type of games aren't demanding, console will be stuck at 60fps not even native 4K how will it perform better, somebody just said they have a 2070 and get 100fps, consoles can't even hope to match that, I get disappointed when all I get is 60fps, what is the point of playing on PC lmao

Buy it on Microsoft Store if you do. It's cross-buy, so you get an Xbox copy and PC copy.
If they ever fix the performance problems on PC, then you've got a PC copy too.

It runs as bad on console if not worse. The problems with this game are global and the results of a ancient engine that was made with only the PS3 hardware in mind.

Not at all the 10+ hours I've spend on the demo has shown me it can easily run, I just had to switch my settings around for a moment at the start of the game, I got a 3080 gtx I should have no issues running the game on the highest settings but it does lag on high, so def just needs optimization, but medium settings have no lag at all and still looks amazing, when the full game launches and I can port over my save I'll be testing to see if it still has issues on my rig but it won't be stopping me from enjoying it on medium settings like I have so far.
