Controller support?

Hi, I tried a PS4, PS5, Xbox One v2 and v3 joystick and none of them work.
work. Any idea how to fix this?
I tried running Steam as administrator but it didn't work at all.

has to be on your side, Im using a jury rigged 8bitdo pro+ custom made controller and it works perfectly fine with nintendo button layout and everything.

do controllers work on your other games? is your controller properly connected to your PC? either by bluetooth or USB/wired connection?

yes i try on other steam and not steam games , all works ok , only on this game i have this issue .

The game uses Steam's controller API so so long as it's running through Steam it will work fine with those controllers.

YOu don't have an ownership icon.How are you playing this on Steam. Are you talking about the demo.

I don't have said icon either.
There's a Microsoft Store version, BTW.
It's the better version because it works on Xbox Series X and PC, and supports DirectInput for gamepad, so supports PlayStation controllers without buggy Steam Input.

PS5 controller works fine and all the icons in the game are displayed normally, and not like in many games, where the icons are from the Xbox
