The German voice actor doesn't fit at all!!!

He sounds like a 19-year-old boy and doesn't have the shamanic, rough voice that you know from Indiana Jones movies in German.

Wolfgang Pampel is the only choice.

In this day and age of AI, I also cannot understand why they don't try to imitate his voice if they don't take him. The current German version is simply awful and it is disappointing that after years a new Indiana Jones game comes out in which a foreign voice is simply used.

It is a disappointment for the entire German-speaking area!
Edited the voice there is still time before negative reviews and criticisms rain down.

Ask Pampel or adjusts the voice so that it comes close to Pampel.

Actually, Pampel also spoke the part in the Indy movie last year.

I can only pray that some wonder happens and they can hire the original german voice (even if it sounds a bit older now). This would make the game 100% better and i would gladly pay a bit extra for this.

Sad to see that even people who don't even speak German don't like the new voice.

The fact that apparently a person on the game development team who speaks German made this decision about the new voice is an absolute disgrace.

I agree on the voice sounding weird (i.e., unfamiliar) at first with Indy, but I guess one gets accustomed after a few hours (and yes, I would prefer the old voice as well). However, not even sure how many people will install it in German anyway, I am German, and I always play in the original language (and there the voice is "close enough" I'd say).

I see it differently. I'll definitely play Indiana Jones in German because I've always watched the films in German and the voice has always been the same.

But the current voice is catastrophic and I won't be able to get used to it.
There's a large Indiana Jones fan community in Germany.
In fact, the demand for a German game is so great that it has been dubbed.
It is not a given. Only in a large market is such an effort made.
It's not like there are only 5 people.


So far I don't know any German Indiana Jones fans who like the new voice.

I was very disappointed that the English voice doesn't sound anything like Harrison Ford and the argument "he is too old" also came up there.

the german voices are VERY alike. You have to listen closely to notice it.
Anyways, I prefer the original over a dubbed version, ALWAYS.
