On Windows 11 ? Radeon or Nvidia GPU ? I've changed back to Windows 10. Windows 11 is still a very unreliable OS with it's updates.
Windows 11 , GPU Nvidia 3080 . Intel I9 32 GB RAM . Until Update 3 the game was running properly

Hi robertomontanari1, sorry to hear you're having an issue starting the game. Could you please send in a ticket to https://help.bethesda.net so we can take a look? Thanks.
have you tried verifying the game cache yet?

If the game crashes during or after starting. Start the game in safe mode and turn off ray reconstruction. All graphics settings can be set to max or whatever you want. Then restart the game and go into the game. ONLY when you are in the game can you turn on Ray Reconstruction again without the game crashing. Before you close the game you have to deactivate ray reconstruction again. Do this every time you start and close the game until nvidia has fixed the error.

Please help me bro, I was having crash to desktop problems since december, even with Update 3 yesterday, crashes didn´t stop. The only thing that worked for me is downloading Intel XTU and changing P-cores Ratio from 57x to 54x.

Is there any possibility for you to analyze if there is any incompatibility of the Intel 13th and 14th gen CPU P-cores with this game?

I have an i9 14900KF and RTX 4090, 64GB RAM, I was only having problems with this game

My CPU is working fine, passed all tests, including stress test

they won't help you, they will only help you with patches
I've had issues with Windows 11 in several games. Now with Windows 10 the whole systems runs more stable. Only a recommendation.
My opinion i not a Windows problem , but a game problem . 135 hours playing without problem and now , after update 3 the game stop working

At least I´m trying... sad but true. It's a shame for developers to release a game that forces us to underclock the CPU to work properly

My game was not working either, I deleted the Config files in the games save location and it allowed me to restart and reconfigure successfully. Game is now running very well (path tracing still capable of tanking even powerful PC's though ((Vram issue)) - If Cyberpunk and CDPR can do it and do it optimized - why can't machine games?

All the config files in installation directory ?
I have the same problem. I have to say, when I bought and installed the game in late december last year, I also couldn't start the game initially. I found someone on youtube with a weird fix: set the compatibility to windows 8 (in the TheGreatCircle.exe file in the root directory). Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work now.

Update:
I turned the compatibility mode for windows 8 off, and on again. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but I started the game again, with compatibility for windows 8 on, and after 2 or 3 minutes the game suddenly started. So it now takes a relatively long time to start the game (could be only me ofcourse). My specs are: windows 11, Ryzen 7 5700g, RTX 3060Ti, 16 Gb ram.

So I would suggest trying the compatibility thing, it might help.
