This game is incredibly well optimised
…. According to DF. Ray tracing is required because it is the developers vision. Fair enough. My only criticism is that the low system requirements are far higher than the Xbox Series S.

It really depends, i have DLSS disabled with everything other than shadows and texture pool at the max and i am mostly cpu bound

agree i9, 50gb RAM, rtx4070dual 16gb, upscaled to 4k and playing on 2k LCD, capped at 75fps, runs like Quake Arena, I couldn't believe I can even upscale, I was like dude, seriously

Uhm…. Cpu performance does not scale with resolution…. Hence why i said dlss doesn’t matter much.

That was my point, i am completely cpu bound so most of my settings can be maxed out, as they hardly affect performance.

Which is also why dlss is a moot point for me, since that would alleviate stress from the gpu, not the cpu.
