Unoptimized game, positive reviews???

Why are the reviews positive if the game is a unoptimized and too demanding, need a 2000$ PC for recommended settings??? Gamers became sheeps unfortunately

well, upgrade regularly just some parts and u never spend that much, last I replaced gtx970 by rtx4070 for around $500 and did not regret at all

just so everyone is aware the newest drivers for RTX 4000s are bugged (553.35) and it runs like crap, i had to roll back to 566.14 to make the game run as it should.

Thanks, you were right.
I was trying to understand why my FPS/frametime graph looked so strange, constant spikes.
Downgraded to the previous 566.14 and it's back to normal, not chaotic anymore.

I didn't take screenshots..
Afterburner was showing stable numbers ~80-90 FPS, but the FPS graph was jumping from 80 to 117 constantly.
It was not actually bad in the gameplay, and maybe I wouldn't notice if I were not monitoring.
But this broken graph line was making me crazy. That's some perfectionist disorder that I have.

If you are barely scraping the bottom of the barrel and the game doesn't run well for you, that means 'bad optimisation'? Get real buddy, that is not how this works. Everyone with middle of the road specs is easily getting 60fps with all different cpu/gpu configurations. When you try to play a game at 4k with a card not designed for 4k on a new title you get the results you deserve tbh. I tested it on a normal platter external HD and it works there too, with no stuttering! Explain that to me then, the load times are higher, but zero stuttering, rofl....

You do know that an RX580 4GB won't even launch the game let alone support RT as it's a 2nd gen Polaris based AMD GPU?

lol ? i have rtx 3070 and first game in this year fully optimized and no memory leak :D this game is really great u play horizon forbiden west or ghost of tsushima? play 30minutes and after u drop to 30fps and fully restart game.

The game is very good optimized, but some guys with there 10 year old hardware just cant accept the faqct, thats not anyones fault, ur guys are poor and cant buy new hardware. Man when i was a child the development in the gaming industry was so fast, you bought new hard2ware and i couldnt even run the game on highest settings. U almost had to buy a new graphics card every year.
People just got used that hardware is already so much ahead of the consoles since many years, that they got spoiled by thinking its normal to use ur pc 10 years and be able to play games. But thats the same reason why games look almost the same since 5 years.

I personally prefare to see the fidelity and also worlds become more complex and more detailed, with much more possibilities, even if it costs alot of horsepower.

The first RTX graphics card was released 6 years ago. I dont know what people think, that you should be able to play a new game on max settings with over 100 fps on a more then 6 to 7 year old graphics card lol

Please get a job and buy a new pc after 10 years bro and stop blaming and crying for no reason. The game is running amazing.

On the contrary, this is one of the best optimized games there is, although there are issues with DLSS stutter and VRAM with 8GB cards, but I expect these to be fixed. XBOX Series X runs this at 60 FPS with a typical resolution of 3200 x 1800, and that's with RTGI. Very impressive, great CPU utilization. It merely requires at least a 6 year old graphics card, which is very generous.
