Unoptimized game, positive reviews???

Why are the reviews positive if the game is a unoptimized and too demanding, need a 2000$ PC for recommended settings??? Gamers became sheeps unfortunately

The raytracing is it what the requirements are making them unusual extra-ordinary. The gameplay indeed isn't very entertaining. The Wolfenstein games were much more funny and the optical quality was also better concerning the hardware requirements. But hey, it's an Indiana Jones game and the fanboys have waited for a very long time to play Indy again. Unfortunately it's not in 3rd-person view.

Becuz it's actually running fairly well on a Core i3 toaster with a crappy RTX 3050. Optional full pathtracing eats performance for breakfast as it isn't a cheap trick with fake baked lighting, and that's not gonna change for any game that offers it.

No wonder that nobody is actually pushing PC hardware anymore -- if Origin still were around, people would get a heart attack -- 12 fps when starting from the Tiger's Claw in Wing Commander even on the bestest machines out there. That's what NextGen used to be: Offering a glimpse into the future by pushing the best machines close to their melting point. Nowadays it's games running on years old consoles, visually slightly enhanced.

I can't leave a positive review because I keep crashing randomly to desk top with no errors. I9 14900KF, 4090 and 64 Gig of Ram. It isn't a me problem, many people with similar set up with 13/14 gen CPUs are CTD.

You have bugged CPU, update microcode or your cpu is already dead. There are no issue with CTD.... 13 and 14 series are known to crash to desktop in all games, sorry...

Updated the Bios and it is worse XD Just crashes instantly on intro now like others. Bummer.

Get with the times if you want to play titles with updated graphics.

You do not have to use Full RT... You can set it for your spec... I also have 3080 that i bought in 2020... I give it now to my son PC and its still rock solid gpu...

Yeah its still great, plan on keeping it another generation of GPUs tbh.
But claiming specs are too high when they point at something 3 years old is just stilly.

You don’t seem to know what the word optimised means.

The game is very well optimised, thats why it runs so well on all of the pc’s meeting the minimum/recommended requirements.

High requirements =\= bad optimisation

Then how are Japanese games around 70GB and look better than this?

It's optimized very well, just configure settings corresponding to your configuration.
It's clearly better then Stalker 2 unoptimized bugfest which is praised as "GOTY".

You need to look into the intel microcode issue, intel is lying and you need to get a new cpu right now while it's still under warranty!!!! Damage to yyour cpu has already happened, no bios microcode is going to help you! get your replacement now before it's too late. I already got mine swapped out. Don't believe a word intel says, they only care about money dude, get on that rma today!!!

Game seems well optimised for the most part, 150fps with everything maxed (except for path tracing).

There are options to reduce memory usage for older cards. 8GB users shouldn't be complaining at this point, work around the issue or upgrade.
