What's with the low player numbers?

I think this game is really great, the reviews are great, it look great, the story are great too.
But concurrent not even 12k players?
There is really something happened with Xbox games.
I mean even Silent Hill 2 Remake, a psychological horror game managed to have 23k peak players.
Indiana Jones is a big franchise makes it even worse.
I think Gamepass indeed destroy sales.

Just got gamepass for like 10 bucks and I will beat the game in 30 days and few others too like Stalker 2. No need to throw 70 bucks when I can get the same experience for 10. That's a no brainer.

Destroy sells is a weird way to look at it. Subscription services like Netflix having largely replaced people buying movies. It’s just a different business model, same with Game Pass.

From gamers perspective GP is indeed really nice, but it's bad for business i think lol, but who cares about them, GP FTW.!

I'm sure there's a big number deciding to check it out on Gamepass first, and the PS5 players that might have gone PC may wait it out since PS5 version is already in the works.

Yeah, people paying for a subscription aren’t going to feel the need to buy something they get access to from a subscription. This isn’t a new revelation, it’s been going on with Games, Music, Film, TV, books for like a decade.

Because Indiana Jones is a Gen X/Boomer action adventure hero who's 3 core franchise movies came out like 20-30 years before the mainstream gaming audience was born. lol

Im 36 and Raiders came out 7 years before I was even born and I'm on the cusp of being an "old man gamer" at this point lol. If you were born the same day the last of the trilogy movies came out you'd be 43 right now, the average old school indiana fan is probably closer to 50-60+. The last 2 modern movies they made were complete ♥♥♥♥. I'm a bit surprised this game even got this game funded, it would be like developing and releasing a Escape from New York game in 2024.

Uncharted is the younger generations Indiana Jones adjacent game franchise, I can't imagine anyone who didn't grow up watching the original 3 movies buying this over just playing uncharted. Alternatively you've already got 3 modern laura croft games, with similar gameplay but you stare at the ass of a younger female instead of a 50 year old harrison..... lol

I actually born in 1991, and i never even watch Indy Jones, barely knew it but the game indeed looks really good, and the reviews are good too, i think just based on that people will be itched to play this game, but i think gamepass is the problem here.
I just don't have money yet to buy this game but considering it's on GP, i think i will play it there too lol.
