The blessed pearl. Don't know how to solve puzzle soft locked on main quest.
As title says im stuck on this puzzle and in all honesty im not the best with puzzles irl and i have had no rouble to this point. However I just cant solve this puzzle even with the hints and the worst thing is all video guides show the same room but the Devs have altered the puzzle and then all other guides which show on google and bing as "complete guide walkthrough" im looking and you IGN and Game8 are "WIP" and no where near this section. Please can someone assist with this puzzle.

I'm stuck on this puzzle as well. My game looks just like yours, having only 3 pre-placed game pieces. I'll call them the ones with the "noses" for lack of a better description. (the immovable ones). Every time I go into this room, there is only one game piece on the door to the left (when facing the statue with the entrance behind you). All walkthroughs and pictures I've seen are clearly showing two there. I'm able to open the door to the right, which is supposed to have three game pieces...I have none. So, I can't complete the puzzle because I don't have enough game pieces. I don't know if this is one more bug to add to the list or if I've missed something earlier in the game? I was able to open the door to the right as I mentioned using the online pictures and videos, but that's all the farther I've gotten. I've tried rolling back the save as others tried for other bugs unsuccessfully as well. But you are the first one I've found being stuck I believe at the same spot I am. Hopefully a patch will fix this...I want to move on in the game!

(spoiler!!!) As far as I remember (others can correct me if I am wrong) it is possible to rotate the figurines in one direction with just the initial pieces. That opens a hidden door which has more of them. Then repeat with the other side and then one finally has enough pieces to solve the complete puzzle. (spoiler off)

Thank you for the advice, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or what exactly happened. I've had the problem since the very first time I entered the room. I opened the door the first time (the left one) and got the two game pieces, and tried to open the right door to get additional pieces. That's when I got stuck and started looking online at screenshots and videos. I can't open the right side door because I'm one short on the pieces I perhaps incorrectly called the immovable ones. I mean the ones that rotate to face the door you want to open. On all of the videos and screenshots, I can see 4 of them. I've only ever had 3 from the start. I'm on the latest build of the game (Dec 8th). I even rolled back the save to the arrival at the pyramid and did the whole process again thinking I missed something?? It's so frustrating now because when I enter the room I can open the left door, but it's empty. Something else I took notice to, is on each side of the right door there are 4 blocks that should slide out when the corresponding pieces are facing the door. (hope I'm making sense because sadly I have no screenshots yet). Three of those blocks slide out, for me but not the 4th, because I have only 3 of those pieces that turn...anyway I really do appreciate your suggestion. I may have to just restart the whole game and hope that when I get to this point it'll be fixed :(

I figured this issue out, continue game and go to settings.
Change Action Experience and Adventure Experience from Light to Moderate.
Once the game reloads you will now have the correct amount of pieces for the puzzle.

That's great! I'm going to try it out asap. Thank you!

It works! Thank you so much for helping out. I've been frustrated for days now. Never gave it a thought about changing the Experience settings. It was awesome to walk into the room and see all pieces on the game board

This actually worked, but i still can't complete the puzzle, as only have 3 pegs so can't move the last statue around.

Thanks for this. What an aggravating bug

That is indeed how you solve it.
You use the first 3 pieces (One already in the puzzle for the door you came in, 2 on the alcove to the left) in the room to rotate the puzzle to open the "hidden" door.
After getting the left side open - take enough pictures and Indie gets a note in the journal that has the second solution.
