Is the bottle in the water maybe? Sometimes items just respawn after doing another quest. Happened to me with the print. I picked it up didn´t know what to do with and after doing another sidequest it was on the original spot again not at the spot where I put it.
Same for the drawer... And I'm sure I had opened it the first time I came in the tent, but maybe I didn't collect it...
So, during a revisit of mine in order to collect one last remaining note, I spawned in there instead of the Gizeh village and that particular door that originally led to the idol is closed so there's nowhere you can go.
And this takes places after I've revisited Gizeh twice, before the game, for no reason whatsoever, threw me in there with no way out in sight. It's not the same place that other people appear to be stuck in.

Same problem here.
I ended up cranking down the gameplay sound fx in the audio settings, in order to not be driven nuts, but such a "fix" severely detracts from the game's enjoyment, as you might imagine. Fortunately, I had already finished the story by this point, but think of someone who decided to backtrack before the finale, they would have to deal with this as they are experiencing the final act. It also worries me that the bug could be carried on to a new playthrough.
