Right mouse button to lean?

for a game that lends itself so heavily to stealth, why would you make leaning dependent on if you are holding a weapon or not? fantastic game but this is a really bizarre design choice. years of first person stealth games taught us single button, or even Dishonored is a separate button, but it doesn't make you do a right hook if you're unarmed. like wtf.

yeah, i'm not a fan of that. When at a corner the "lean" buttons should always work, not dependent on if you carry a "weapon" or not.

i did, to Q+E, but you can't change the command necessary to actually lean. it will still be that command no matter what you map it to

It is a very strange decision both from a game-play perspective and it also doesn't make any logical sense that you'd need a weapon in your hand to lean.

Agreed, but what I want even more is RMB working as block when you have a melee weapon in your hand.

Not sure what you mean , for me , i believe lean right is " C" , and lean left is " Z". Though i did map those to a right stick on controller , but when i did try it , he didn't lean. Is it only at corners he can lean?

I assumed that was a bug - that you had to hold a weapon. I assume they will be fixing that. You guys don't think it's a bug?

I use controller BTW where it is Left Trigger + joystick button down (left or right) but it has the same thing where you have to be holding a weapon.

Seems to be pretty integral to have been missed as a bug when so much seemed to have passed muster. Maybe it was just bad design, not thought out well.
