How to stash items?

I'm supposed to collect the pendent, whip, and other things. However after I pick them up I don't know how to stash them. Indy tends to just throw them back on the floor.

Any idea?

You put them in the open suit case.....

You have to pack them in the suitcase he opened earlier in the scene.

When I hit the tab key, is that the suitcase? How do I drag things into it?

Ah, I see, the suitcase was placed on the chair... I was expecting to put it in my inventory, didn't think anything about the suitcase from the cutscene...
