Indiana Jones and The Great Circle closing suddenly, repeatedly

About every 30 minutes or so of playing the new Indiana Jones game on Game Pass, the game will inextricably crash to desktop. No error message, no freezing first, no log or data dump. Just an immediate closing of the game window back to the Xbox App. This has happened 3 times now within the last 2 hours of play.

Has this happened to anyone else yet? It's very strange, I've not really experienced anything like this with other games.

Specs: 14900k, rtx4090,
64gb ram, 2tb ssd, 1440p ultrawide

same, I'm actually on gamepass but just on here to use the forum. sounds like we're all having the same issue. hopefully that means the devs will look into it quicker

I'm getting the same thing, crashing at a puzzle area in what I assume is a non-taxing area on the graphics card.

It definitely sounds like it could be an issue specific to the Game Pass version of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
Sometimes, Game Pass games can have problems with system compatibility, installation issues, or even server-side bugs that aren't present in the standalone versions.

I have over 16 hours playing it here on Steam, and not had one single crash in all that time.

you're probably right,. every person that has this issue is on gamepass. good job, microsoft... smh

question: are you using RT? because I have a 4090 playing in 2k UW and definitely cannot maintain 60fps with TAA

Update on my end: updated to latest Nvidia drivers and hasn't crashed since.

I have about 6 hours in this game (PC Game Pass) and have crashed at least 6 or 7 times now. It doesn't close itself, it rather freezes in place suddenly and I can only kill it via Task Manager. The game performs great, no stuttering or sudden fps drops. My GPU has 11 GB VRAM and textures on High or even Medium make no difference. Crash is guaranteed to happen basically once in an hour of playtime. Unacceptable.

This game is a literal crash fest. Even on super high end hardware. I am stuck and cannot progress any further because I crash here as shown my own forum post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2677660/discussions/0/604141990686341290/

No solutions yet, going to try it again shortly and then if it does it again, I might just give up.

All my drivers are up to date for my 4090.

Same, but no gamepass and the ctd is location specific. I crash, load, walk back the same route and it crashes at the same place. I reload, take a different route, walk near the previous crash location and again ctd.
The game has become unplayable.

Gamepass version here. The game ran flawlessly from launch, but started crashing to desktop without error every ~30 minutes after Update 1

Same issue here, it seems most people reporting this issues are intel users but I use a 9800x3d with a 4080 Super and I am also freezing without error. Everytime I fiddle with settings it might go past a point which was constantly crashing but it will inevitably crash somewhere else.
