Well damn, that kills it for me.
The game looks beautiful though. I give them that.
Other than that, the more I see the less interested I am.
Gameplay is non-existent... just home in on the quest marker.
That's the impression I got from reviews on youtube. What a shame.
Watching a no-commentary playthrough would be entertaining enough for most people.

But somehow it works. The stealth isn’t amazing, but it’s simple and the game looks amazing.
So it’s like a Freeform exploration game with stealth and punching bad guys.
Saying all this though i just entered a completely open area, so maybe things change.
(Playing on gamepass, before people say i aint got the game)
the game is fun, it doesn't hold your hand on mysteries and they're satisfying to solve (unless you choose the easy difficulty).
it's focused around avoiding combat but once you are in combat you have many ways to turn the tide in combat by picking up objects and throwing or using your whip. it reminds me alot of dark messiah
using the enviroment and tools around you will be usseful when playing on very hard, enemies can basicly 3 shot you, or even 2 shot if they manage to grab you, litteraly died 8 times against the very first enemy, forcing me to get git gud quikly.
the way the markers work is that you have to open a map which you have to find first, and it wil show markers (opening the map does NOT pause the game), mysteries (sidequests) will basicly show quest area markers basicly letting you figure it out yourself by reading the notes you find, while main story is more clear on where to go.
fist fighting looks clunky but once you get try it yourself it's very satisfying, the sound effects on punching are extremely well done.
the game is also very immersive, they did a good job with the first person by not half assing the animations when picking up items or interacting with something, most things require some input which adds to the immersion.
that's all i can say for now for i haven't beat it yet, but the story so far is interesting enough for me to see where the mystery is going.
Dude doesn't even own the game and you're listening to his opinion?
You realise it is on game pass? Most PC players will be playing it there
Many ways? You have named 2
Is that true? From what I can gather it tells you an area to search (which is usually very small) not but the exact location and the solution is normally really really simple (like being on the back of the paper you are already holding)
Explain that to the Neanderthals making threads about how many people are in game right now in Steam.
I am not sure why you are name calling, you also made the mistake of assuming that if you didn't own it on Steam you couldn't possibly have played it elsewhere.
