Very low performance on a 4070TI Super (Gamepass version)
Been messing with the settings trying to get consistent performance for the last couple of hours. Haven't been able to get a consistent 60fps, let alone anything higher, with any variation of settings. Tried all of the graphics settings from low to supreme and variations of DLSS and frame gen with no luck. Only playing at 1080p, and have seen no CPU (i9-149000KF) bottleneck. GPU utilization bounces from 70-99%. Any suggestions?

Same with my 4070 Ti Super. I have tried multiple settings and I just cannot get it to run properly. GPU util stuck around 50/60% regardless of in game settings

Me too. Asked GPT for help and it suggested: 1. Resolution and Display Settings:

Resolution: Set to your monitor's native resolution (e.g., 1920x1080 for Full HD or 2560x1440 for 1440p) to ensure sharp visuals.
Refresh Rate: Match the game's refresh rate with your monitor's capabilities for smoother gameplay.
2. Graphics Quality Preset:

High to Ultra: The RTX 4070 Ti is capable of handling high to ultra settings, providing detailed textures and effects.
3. Ray Tracing:

Enable Full Ray Tracing: The game supports full ray tracing, enhancing lighting, shadows, and reflections for a more realistic experience. The RTX 4070 Ti can handle this feature effectively.
NVIDIA
4. NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling):

Enable DLSS: Activating DLSS can boost performance by rendering at a lower resolution and upscaling, maintaining image quality.
DLSS Mode: Choose 'Quality' mode for the best balance between performance and visual fidelity.
5. Texture Quality:

High: Set texture quality to high to enjoy detailed environments and character models.
6. Shadows and Reflections:

High: Enhance realism with high-quality shadows and reflections.
7. Anti-Aliasing:

TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing): Provides smooth edges and reduces visual artifacts.
8. Ambient Occlusion:

Enabled: Adds depth to scenes by simulating soft shadows in occluded areas.
9. Anisotropic Filtering:

16x: Improves texture clarity at oblique viewing angles.
10. V-Sync:

Adaptive V-Sync: Helps prevent screen tearing without significant input lag.
Additional Recommendations:

Monitor Performance: Use in-game performance metrics or third-party tools to monitor frame rates and adjust settings if necessary.
Driver Updates: Ensure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date to access the latest optimizations for the game.
System Cooling: Maintain adequate cooling to prevent thermal throttling during extended play sessions.

Same here with a 4070

how much VRAM do you have? i'm on a 3060 12gb and i'm running everything at medium/high at 1440p with dlss on, getting a consistent 60fps without path tracing. it looks fantastic. i''ve read that this game likes a lot of VRAM.

I have just come across another post suggesting to turn off Low Latency mode in NCP and FG off in game settings. Fixed the issue for me hope it works for you!

16GB of VRAM. I've seen lots of people say how well optimized it was, its why I'm so confused as to why I can't get decent FPS at 1080p lol

Have tried turning off FG and Low Latency was already off, still haven't had much luck.

Played roughly an hour when it launched and I was at Supreme settings with DLSS or TAA and Frame Gen, it was butter smooth. Trying to play tonight and it is jittery no matter what I do, even on the lowest settings! Only thing that has changed is the patch, i am aggravated to say the least.

i7-9700f
RTX 4070
32GB RAM

I had low latency on Ultra turned that off however I have left FG on and it is still running smoothly. I now have 99% GPU Util instead of the 50/60%. Settings are currently on Supreme preset DLSS quality getting round 120/130 FPS

If you updated Nvidia drivers try to rollback previous version. The latest Nvidia driver is a joke. I have 90 fps with drops to 60-70. After rollback 120-130 FPS.

Wow! I must have been on the previous drivers at launch. I just rolled back my Nvidia drivers and it's back to buttery smooth, I can't even make it be bad. Thanks!
