Low FPS?
I have a RTX 4070 and Ryzen 9, with 128 gigs of ram but I keep seeing all these things about great optimization but for me its running sorta poorly and choppy?

Anyone else having this issue or find a fix?

If you installed the lates Nvidia drivers try to rollback to previous version. The latest driver is a piece of s**t

I didn't update my drivers. Zero problems on GamePass with a Ryzen 9 7900X, 64 gigs ram@ 6000 MT, and Geforce 4080 Super Asus Tuf Ed. Installed on Samsung 990 Pro SSD. Settings at Supreme, 4k, with Path Ray-Tracing Off. Even with Path RT at medium, it tanks the fps to below 30 and visually looks worse.

I have my 4080 very slightly overclocked, clock +120 and mem +1300, but undervolted to keep it at .975--great trick for reducing power consumption but not performance. Despite having Gsync turned on, I had to use Nvidia panel and create a profile for this to force Vsync On because it kept going over 120 fps, the limit of my LG's native refresh rate. In-game settings were useless. That was causing problems with it being choppy. With that fixed, cutscenes are at 60 fps, everything else so far is 120 fps.

RAM doesn't matter in the game, the game needs more video memory!
