How to enable Path Tracing?
The setting for enabling path tracing simply doesn't exist in the options menu for me. Is that a bug or do they just hide the setting on sub 12GB GPUs?

Found the solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1hbak60/indiana_jones_and_the_great_circle_path_tracing/

Should hide it for 12Gb GPUs as well seeing as the only way to use it on a 12Gb is at 1080p or 1440p with aggressive upscaling and low/med settings so your game will just look crap compared to regular RT with higher settings + HDR. PT in this game is for the 4090, and the 5080+5090 when those come out.
With the Vram bypass I am running it just fine on my 3080.
I got another idea, let people choose themselves what graphics and performance they want, instead of hiding away settings.

Don't see how, on a 4070Ti the only way i can get PT running without it being a slideshow and crashing is to set everything to low, set DLSS to ultra performance, and turn frame gen on.

Same on a 3080 10gb. If they hide thats ridiculous, even if it runs poorly we should have the option to be there. CDPR gave us PT and didn't do this bs.
There is a solution now that worked for me:

Yup saw this today. Going to try it out.

The only thing you have to set to low or medium is textures, everything else to max.
1440p with DLSS Performance gives me 50fps in exteriors and 70fps in interiors.

Turns out it was win 11 24h2 that was the issue, after yesterdays windows update i can actually enable PT without it overflowing the vram straight away and crashing. Don't need to use DLSS performance either (and why would anyone unless they have 4K display, performance on a 1440p display looks horrific), works alright on quality. Saw an optimisation vid saying to turn hair quality to the lowest setting because there is no noticeable difference between settings but the highest one uses a good chunk of vram with a decent fps hit.

Wait wait, so I just ended up getting an RX 6800 XT and don't see the setting and someone mentioned it only being available on RTX cards.... Is this an Nvidia exclusive setting? Thats kind of lame honestly I thought we were past this feature lock down stage in games, hell everyone made a fuss when Starfield only had FSR. But seeing as the game only has DLSS and does not have FSR or Xess I guess Nvidia is locking down game features again.
