DLSS FPS Drop Workaround
UPDATE 12/12/24: The dev team is working to deploy a fix for this issue next week. Thank you for your patience!

--

If you're encountering an FPS drop when playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with DLSS enabled, please try the following steps:

  • Select Graphics Options.
  • Switch from DLSS to TAA.
  • Switch back to DLSS.
  • Exit the menu. FPS will return to normal shortly after.

Just shut up and go play the game. If you don't have an issue then why are you here? There's a reason the developer pinned this thread with a workaround. Not too smart are you?
yes, the devs of course are helping their customers but its not the game which cause this issues but their systems. developers just impement those workarounds in their games for systems who are damaged and need to be handlet with exceptional extra code for rare cases. thsi wouldnt be the case if they would maintain their systems properly, otherwise EVERYONE would have the same problems. every single player would have the same problem if it would be the game because everyone has the same game writen in the same code with the same content.
"Not too smart are you?"

And you think that you're smart?
If the people had never had issues this kind of issue in their other games when using DLSS,that means that their system works correctly.
If the devs have to implement things in their game because people have this issue ONLY in this game, that means that THEY didn't do things correctly and have to FIX the game.
If your cognition abilities are too limited to understand that then nobody can help you.

If you are encountering massive stutters with frame gen, try setting the in-game fps cap to 60 or less. This will give your NVIDIA GPU enough room to use frame gen to double it up to 120 fps.

14900K + 4090, 64gb 6800 ram - 40 fps on 3440x1440 DLSS definetely something wrong :/
Gpu usage at 40-50%

No problems with DLSS just lower the texture pool size in game options to not overload your GPU memory

This happens when the texture pool size is set too high, filling up the VRAM and overflowing a lot to the shared video memory, and even causing the game to fail to boot, need to lower the "is_poolSize" value in the game configuration file, i think this game has issues with memory management which needs to be fixed and improved.

This is a separate issue. DLSS is broken on some configurations right now.

runs finde on my old 4090 rig with intel cpu.
For some silly reason you have to quit the game and start again when enabling FrameGen. Game should run fine after.
I too had some real drops when i started playing right at launch, everything in 4K, ultra/high, RT on Max (NO PT), No DLSS etc, and FG. Got 30 fps in the jungle lol.
Played today and it stays steady fps at 60(max on my old monitor, new is on its way)
