Mack is a miserable sod who hates most games.
If you don't set the game to easy, it certainly doesn't tell you everything about the puzzles, Mack never seems to know how to change options, he shows that in most of his poor youtube reviews sadly. too focused on his little bell.
Also the combat feels great and meaty.
It's not wolfenstein... are people expecting Indy to machine gun everyone down like that single scene in last crusade??
And 'only review you need to see' is such an asinine thing to say. Intelligent people who are interested in a game will look at both the positive and negative reviews so they can make a truly informed purchase about what they are getting into, and whether it will be for them. Meanwhile, sheep will go to a single review that helps validate an opinion they have based on not playing the game, and then spread that single review about as a 'gotcha' moment'. It's not at all convincing.
hazelmake has already formed his opinion from a YouTuber and will unfortunately be missing out on a GOTY worthy title because they are unable to think for themselves and check out multiple takes. How sad.
It only gives you hints if you have it on easy or you specifically ask for hints by taking pictures several times.
I (and many others judging by the reviews) love exploring the maps. Tonnes to find and it doesn't hold your hand in the slightest to find everything, again... Unless you want it to.
Far more than story and graphics to this game.
The combat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great, probably the best hand-to-hand combat since sleeping dogs, so much fun, especially if you get the skills that make the whip useful in combat.
I'll admin the AI is a little weak, but I bet if you put the game on the hardest they are a lot better, but I have it just on the default setting, which isn't supposed to be that hard, so it is fine to me.
The playing a movie aspect of the game is where it truly shines, the cutscenes are just effing amazing and easily the best part of the game, but the collectibles and upgrade system are a very very very close 2nd.
I love that it rewards you for actually looking around and finding everything. Sure you can bum-rush the game if you want, but you would have just wasted $70+ to ePeen, which is pretty effin' pointless imo, but stupid people gonna be stupid, so w/e.
Game is easily my GOTY if not the decade, as it ticks every single button in a game that I love, and also for all of you wondering, it isn't woke in the slightest, so stop listening to the trolls who are just butthurt cuz they can't afford to buy and play it themselves.
You don't have the game unless you played it on console, which I highly doubt. Another troll.
Cherry picking bad review scores amongst the hundred good ones, another classic troll move.
You can turn off assists in the game and the AI is fully customizable to your preferred challenge.
it's a movie game slop with 10h of content, overpriced and jank, it's a flop m8
Also the combat is fun as hell imo.
