This game looks like nothing but a VERY bad Tomb Raider clone, seen parts of this game on various media platforms and it honestly looks awful. Graphics look subpar considering the the high system requirements, gameplay looks as generic as the Uncharted games, looks buggy and stutterry and not only that the game looks more woke than a LGBTQ gathering.

I was looking forward to this game but now, I think I will give it a miss unless it is on Gamepass then I MAY give it a go.

Well the game certainly has achieved the life in plastic aesthetic, and every clip I seen of the game was all in 4K HDR, and it looks worse than Rise Of The Tomb Raider that was released nearly 10 years ago.

Oh, what a sophisticated analysis! Judging the entire game’s aesthetic and quality based on some clips you’ve seen—clearly in optimal 4K HDR perfection—must have taken some truly groundbreaking expertise. Let’s just ignore the context of those clips, the compression from platforms, or the fact that watching a game and playing it are wildly different experiences.

And comparing it to a nearly 10-year-old game? Bold! I guess advancements in art direction, storytelling, and gameplay mechanics mean nothing when you’ve already decided to hate something. But hey, congrats on finding something to complain about. It must be exhausting carrying all that negativity around in your neckbeard.!

There is NO advancements in art direction, storytelling and gameplay mechanics here at all, everything in game has been done before and better mainly by the Tomb Raider series. If anything this game represents a massive step backwards.

That is EXACTLY why, it is a Indiana Jones games so we should be playing as him. Why play as Gina, just Machine Games, Bethesda, Microsoft and Disney ticking their woke quota box to appease an agenda.

And yet anyone who has made this claim has yet to prove it. There's nothing in the game itself to indicate this so far and there has been no proof that this is actually the case. Given that we're a good way into the early access period and people have got their hands on the game, you'd think anyone who repeats this would have something to show for it, yet nothing has come to the fore. It's simple nonsense that gets parroted because people can't be bothered to actually double check the things they're repeating, or people trying (poorly) to troll others and score steam points.

I was looking forward to this game but now, I think I will give it a miss unless it is on Gamepass then I MAY give it a go.

Personally I think it's pretty great. And there really isn't anything "woke." You play as a white dude and run around punching other white dudes for the most part. I guess there's a character with hearing loss who uses hearing aids, which might upset your delicate sensibilities. If having to see a character with a disability or punching fascists is just too woke for you to handle, then yeah, go ahead and sit this one out, little buddy, but maybe go and cry somewhere else?

I am well aware Tomb Raider replicates Indiana Jones, but as a video game franchise there has only been ONE good Indiana game Temple Of Atlantis which was a point an click game. This game tries to replicate the Tomb Raider games in looks and feel but fails, and also Tomb Raiders biggest thing going for it was a strong lead character and good writing. Two ingredients in all honesty that the Indiana Jones series never had.

Tomb Raider has literally never had a proper melee system.

I am a big TR fan but this game is clearly going for it's own thing.
