White Screen After Tutorial Section

So I start the game, I ran the tutorial section - the part from the first movie. I get through the whole thing - giant stone ball chasing me, I hear Marion's voice, the screen goes white... and it stays white. The game is stuck. I have updated the graphics, updated Windows, updated DirectX, updated everything recommended and I still get the white screen each time (plus I am getting quite sick of having to do the same damn boring bit every single time). Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. So annoying.
It locked up during the tutorial too, got in a weird state and I couldn't get the game to continue. Had to do the entire tutorial again. Looks like a 3rd time, or I just uninstall this buggy mess.

Hi Ron, Did you ever find a fix for this?
I just installed it and am having exactly the same issue at the same place. Very frustrating doing the tutorial over and over again with no way forward.
Any revelations?

You should either actually buy the game or find a better crack for your pirated versions of the game.
