Lost All My Progress Because You Can't Go Forward A Save

I don't understand why, when you died, you didn't restart from the recent checkpoint, which was less than a minute ago.

You quit the game and went to the main menu. Then started messing with old saves.

Who does that?

When you die, just keep going. I've never lost more than two minutes of progress.

While this won't fix existing problems it should be useful to make sure it doesn't happen again

Take it easy the game has autosave issues
After hours of playing the game suddenly i couldn't follow Gina through the secret room and i was stuck so the game is buggedt here is no restart chapter function.
Please respect each other we need solutions and not some fanboys defending the game that's last thing we need her

Because you were angry and didnt read the slot times. I know its stupid, but they are in the opposite order of any other games. The one in the top is the oldest and the one in the bottom is the newest. You probably click the oldest and the game tells you to be sure because there's no turning back.

Happened to me, but I found a way to get them back through reddit. Start a new game, walk up to the cut scene where the bats scare one of the npcs. Quit back to the main menu, go to load state and it'll only show your new save and two empty slots, but there is a rollback icon at the bottom of the same screen, which will show you your old save states (three in total)that you can "roll back" to...
Had to play Shanghai mission again which is barely 15 minutes. Just got my 18 hours save back.
