("stolen cat mummy quest - explore the underground")

Just finished my first 7 hours lol. Great game!

However, Im currently at the "stolen cat mummy quest - explore the underground" specifically. i have finished solving the fountain of confession puzzle already, PUZZLE COMPLETED appeared already, but upon pushing the last statue, i cannot proceed to the staircase going underground and it still is blocking the way?

the fountain has multiple puzzles, you need to rotate the fountain piece and the gate needs to open on both sides.

I can´t proceed in that part because I can swing with my whip in the underground but always fall down.

I finished all the puzzles

1. dragon claw
2. baptism / water transfer
3. crossing boat

Puzzle complete literally appeared already, the npc gina was able to go down, but i could not.

I even checked YT it was exaclty the same, dialouge etc, the only difference is that my character got stuck and cant go down

yup, I hope they patch this... I don't know what to do now cause I can't progress any further .

Did you try a restart ti checkpoint or full restart ?

yeah, restarted checkpoint, the game, verified files, traveled back to the first place in the game and came back , nothing ... dont want to restart the game just for it to possibly happen again also have about 10 hours in already .

Tonight i will try opening again, I just ended last night since i reached 8 hrs already.

Did you resolve this? So what you can do is goto the title screen and goto roll back save. Pick a save where you are just about to start the puzzel over again and just do it again as it only takes like 5 min.
Let me know if this works...

I had a glitch where my pistol disappeared and I rolled back a save and got it back. Life saver!
