How woke is this?

I think we need a scale of sorts, perhaps between 0 to 10.
I'm probably not gonna get it considering that another post on here showed that the lead designer said that it was made for the modern audience. I still think we should have a grating scale so that those that can stomach a bit of that, might still consider if it's worth buying.

I heard Sweet Baby Inc was involved, but that's about it. They are being very secretive about what they did to the game to tailor it for the "Modern Audience."

Hopefully, someone not politically aligned with the left or someone who doesn’t play naive, can clarify this and make a list of those decisions that makes it for "The modern audience".

It's not woke! I've researched the game and it looks like it's not woke at all, as in it's not actually made for "modern audience"

Microsoft got rid of their DEI department in July of this year so perhaps the woke this game was going to have was removed?

Unfortunately the game is still too expensive for me in my region, but it seems to be a game that was made for gamers first and foremost, nothing in the game serves to break immersion by trying to get you on board with some faux social justice cause or anything like that.

Honestly, any movie or TV show.. or video game... with a female or a non-white character is deemed woke. But this is how things have been for decades. You could call the Original Star Trek woke, for example, because there is a multi-ethnic crew and even a human/alien hybrid. Nobody complains about that but if the OG Star Trek came out for the first time today it would be panned. Star Wars: A New Hope, and Raiders of the Lost Ark have strong female leads that nobody also whines about.
People seriously don't know what woke means, let alone pick very poor examples when they declare something as woke.

People aren't usually literate enough to point to exactly what they hate about something, only that it doesn't work, the average man isn't a writer, so when they see bad writing they might project that on to a character. People know there is a problem, but few can instantly tell what it is, does that make sense?

Anyways its just woke enough not to buy, that's why the gatekeepers are on full time damage control. Any game that has a advanced week is usually a tall sign the game is gonna be bad. Advanced week = filtering out all the negative reviews before the normal gamers get their hands on it.

If you can't figure it out on your own and need some kind of scale to go by, you might try a lesson from history. To help sort out the problem, a group of officials in Nuremberg hammered out some rules to go by. You might look into how those ideas played out for them...Google the "Nuremberg Laws" Have fun, Heinrich....
