The journal is bugged and I can’t pick it up. I have restarted the checkpoint and the level and nothing has worked. Any tips?

After opening the hatch wait for Gina to drop down completely and complete the dialogues. Once she is at the door then drop down, search the room and pick up the book, if you go down too early this book on the desk will not be pickable.
