Everything about this game is a false narrative.
You need to wake up.

I dont know what to tell you. Not one single pc game, ever, has had a single setting that can take 99 percent of your fps.

You can have everything set as high as possible Shadows. rt, etc it does not matter. Butter smooth. Absolutely not a single hitch the entire game. Turn the texture stream setting up ONE NOTCH? 3fps??? Its the only setting that does anything!

Then its no different amongst all settings. FPS doesn't change. Runs very similar on all cards.

No Directstorage. RTX IO "cancelled." No virtual vram pools at ALL (oops I said it) in THIS game explicitly. There is no system memory being used to hold textures, and that is why it hard cuts.

Go ahead and try to lower settings to ~30fps without caps on something like a 3060ti or higher. You cant do it! Its either 3 or SEVENTY.

This game is a "scam" obviously hastliy made, with quick stock assets and canned animations. NOW is the time to speak up, and stop letting reviews SPEAK FOR YOU.

If I am wrong? Then name ONE single pc game, ever in the history of pc gaming, that has had a single setting like that, STEAL 99 percent of your fps. Just one. Ill wait.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Path Tracing?
But that's probably the only one.

I would never buy this?

Do you deny what you see this much? There is no way you cant feel the "cheapness" of this game, and then see the STARK contrast between that and how its being jammed down your throats like its a saviour of pc gaming. No way. I dont trust more than half of you in here.

Paid accounts. Users who know where to go to sell accounts. Drive narratives. Its all you guys.

I literally just finished Phantom Liberty yesterday. 1440p Dlssp maxed pt. Never went below 50 in Dogtown, always above 70 outside. (PS Using Nukem DLSS3 mod)

3070/5800x3D/32gb

*Witcher 3 next gen is kinda there though, as it has intentionally high vram buffer usage (8gb is juuust enough for Novigrad and it all "must" remain in memory until you reload the entire game). From 90fps to a pulasating 40 isnt much better. Thats the closest one.

This game gets great reviews because it is very good and people like it.

It gets good reviews because people are selling regular user accounts, then using THOSE accounts to post reviews. Then you have IGN and Pcgamer who have been doing similar for a decade already.

Thats a good idea though. Think user reviews can not be corrupted because of numbers. That the same thing wont happen to them, that did major review sites. /s

Didn't care to. I have had zero performance issues. Understand many will. Just the nature of PC gaming. People get up in arms about the strangest things.

Dude. Remove the tin foil hat for awhile :)

Dude. Stop gaslighting and use critical thinking and logic for ONE TIME in your life.

Then you would cross the road that makes you question the elephants in the room.

This is so silly. This game was made in less than 6 months. It is so cheap, and explicitly made for you tailored by Nvidia.

Keep gaslighting, Ill keep calling out the obvious. Keep on going more, and Ill show the DLSS3 mod and a 3070 running pathtraced, maxed everything.

From 70fps to 3 fps, universally, consistently from the initial load of the game, because of a bump in texture pool size? That can ONLY MEAN ONE THING.

Its on the TITLE SCREEN ffs!

3 fps title screen! Why the **** not make it a static image if that is possible, 100 percent of the time, should you have your texture pool setting off by ONE?

Think. PLEASE.

Lol. Not gaslighting and how do you know if I have ever used logic in my life LOL. The game as far as I can see was announced in Jan 24 and that was with a gameplay trailer so the game was not mad in less than six months. You are claiming all these false reviews. Maybe some are but many people have expressed on the forums how much they like the game plus there are favorable reviews from game review sites.

The game runs rock solid for me. I mean the issues you have seem to be YOUR issues. I have not seen one other person complaining like you. The game for many is good and are enjoying it. You refunded and made your riduculous point as to why the earth is flat. Move on to a game that doesn't have the apparent shortfalls that will bring and end to all gaming as you have laid out. Be at Peace my friend. Go enjoy another game.
TimmyP Dec 7, 2024 @ 7:34am
I dont have issues with how the game runs. I have issues with how the game was programmed.

This is, and I mean this very literally, the only pc game ever to not have scalability or freedom to choose your own settings. To not to be able to choose to run this at say 50fps with better textures. That texture pool setting is bogus. It is a hard vram check. Running this game is binary and none of the other settings do anything. 1gb more vram and you gain SIXTY FIVE FPS? Sorry, I dont think so. That is not bad optimization. That is EVIL optimization, with malicious intent.

You can try as hard as you want to try and SHOW ME OTHERWISE, but you wont be able to, ever. Because this has never happened in 35 years of pc gaming. Closest are Forspoken (obviously another sus game), Witcher 3 next gen (leaving memory leaks) and Ryse (cheap fonts, assets, looks and feels like a quick job).

Little Timmy forgot to take his medicine again.
People, don't bother engaging conversation with him. He thrives on arguing with people. Just look at his post history. He is unhinged, and you're just wasting your energy trying to respond to his lunacy
