She frankly reminds me a lot of Marian from Raiders.

Sarcastic, capable, and challenges Jones without overshadowing him so far. I'm only in Giza right now, so I presume there's a lot of game left where that could change.

Honestly, Indy's interactions with her feel a lot like Marian too. There's a scene after they've gotten to know each other on a zeppelin that really embodies this.
