wait Monday for a possible patch etc .the game also has problems with dlss, fps which suddenly drop for no reason, just by closing the game, etc etc .no really except waiting for a patch

Guys my game didn't even launched due to low video memory (VRam). I have RTX 2060 6GB btw so below minimal requirements. So I played for an hour and then suddenly my game couldn't even open with "failed to allocate video memory" text. Here is a solution for anyone struggling maybe it will help because it helped me: You have to manually add The Great Circle (maybe nvidia will support it in the future) to the program list (a game list that Nvidia app optimizes) in Nvidia App. Yes that's all and I know that sounds stupid but it works for me, no more "failed..." text. I didn't change anything else. Good luck maybe it will help someone.

The fps drops exist because of programmed hard cuts inside the game code, and zero\lacking texture memory management system.

The game is registered in my NVIDIA app, but I still have the problem.

This post tells you how to optimise the game for 6GB cards, that experience this bug due to low VRAM. In short, either revert to Nvidia driver 566.14 or edit the Config file values mentioned in the post (which improve performance regardless).
For me it was having Ray tracing on. Not talking about the setting that is on by default, but if you turn on the additional Ray Tracing then you need to turn it off. That fixed it for me.
