Really Weird Lighting effects on Environment/NPCS
Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz, 16.0 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

Before I go on, YES I have updated my drivers and reinstalled the game.

Anyway, I've been having really strange lighting issues in game where it seems the colors are sapped from the light areas and the dark areas suffer from less color, really dark shadows and overall weird black shininess on NPC's and objects. I have tried messing with all of the graphics settings and have found that turning reflections off removes the shininess but also renders the dark areas completely pitch black even on max brightness. I can only assume this is some sort of ray tracing issue but I have very little experience with it, I usually disable it on all the games I play.

I can deal with it fine it's just really strange and jarring. I will say that most interiors look great and this mainly happens outdoors. Again, I assume it's some issue with how the game is ray tracing sunlight or something like that.

Anyway, any help figuring out this bizarre issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Having exactly the same problem here.

Specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz, 32.0 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU.

The problem started in Vatican City and I can't get rid of it. Also, my FPS plummeted to 17-19 FPS with this problem (playing on Mid settings)

How many FPS do you usually have (in general) if you use the lowest settings?

That's another issue I think I solved: I was getting 20 to 40 FPS even in low settings, but when I turned off DLSS, it immediately jumped to 80 FPS!

In settings look under Video find "Edit Brightness & HDR" in there you can switch off HDR.

Same problem here in the streets of the Vatican. There are some very dark areas and the NPCs are as if “coppered” (as in your screenshots)

I've tried different graphic settings but without success.

My Asus latop specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 3.20 GHz, RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM

And Nvidia graphic driver 566.36

The HDR is already off (not supported by my laptop)

I can't find any fix for this issue
EDIT
I have this problem only on my 2 laptop with intel cpu and rtx gpu. On my Legion Go there isn’t. In vatican city run perfectly.
I suppose it’s related to nvidia gpu

Same. Asus ROG , NVIDIA 3060, really unplayable in dark areas, no HDR available for my laptop, HDR off in game (cannot be turned on)
