Can't enable HDR

HDR enabled on windows, somehow the game tells me hardware isnt compatible.
Is there a fix ?

yeah sorry was just checking... HDR has been working fine for me this whole time... it doesn't work with DLSS yet properly though

If you are using AMD, you need to update to the latest version "AMD Adrenalin Edition 24.12.1".
I was not able to apply HDR at first, but I solved it.

HDR works for me (4090) but it introduces a lot of pixelated flickering on brighter elements in the scene, so I had to turn it off. Along with DLSS 3 being broken this is kind of a bummer.

Hopefully things improve when the path tracing patch comes out in a few days time.

Downloaded amds update and still won’t let enable. On. 4K hdr10 tv. Any help

Same here. 7900 XTX with 4K hdr10 tv. All other games and windows itself work and recognize HDR capabilities

Same problem here with an Nvidia GPU, the game won't let me activate HDR but Auto HDR (which I'd like to avoid as the crosshair in the middle is the really bright and I would like to avoid any burn in on my oled display)

If the VGA driver is up to date and Windows settings and other games are fine, what is the problem?
I can't help you.
I can only recommend that you send a bug report to AMD (or Nvidia) and Bethesda.

Updating the AMD driver to the 24.12.1 version did the trick for me on W11 24H2

It's bug with the fullscreen mode
To enable HDR just hit Alt + Enter to get to windowed mode
switch HDR on and hit Alt + Enter again to go back into fullscreen

then you just proceed as you normaly would

It still doesn't work in window mode, tried the alt+enter thing but HDR option is still locked (I do have an oled display and it's the first time a game does this bs)
