2nd play session locked to 60fps
I played for about an hour with the frame-rate at 1000 in the game settings. My 4090 was getting pretty close to my capped 117 at all times with maxed out settings. After dinner I fired it back up without changing anything and it's now capped at 60 fps. Anyone else have this issue? I reset the computer and even updated the drivers buy now I can't get above 60. Other games are not having any issue with high frame rates.

I'm having the same issue. Stuck at 60 fps regardless of the cap.

It was so smooth for my first play-session at 117 fps. Strange how it would just stop working above 60 after a reboot.

i can only achieve 65 fps with 4090 for 4k native superme setting , most of the people can have at least 110 fps , which really make me confused

Did it add the Path Tracing extensions? And if so is it turned on by default? From the sound of things that is what may have happened and Path Tracing will definitely drop your FPS from 110 to 60 FPS

I was getting pretty close to 117 fps with the 4090 and an Intel i9 but I was using the Cinematic setting which doesn't have to render the top and bottom black bars. Since I'm experiencing a bug that has now locked me to 60 fps, I can't test what I'd get with the 16:9 screen filled. If you are getting 65 fps then it doesn't sound like your issue is the same as what some of us are experiencing because for us it never goes above 60.

For me it's not just a drop in performance because it never goes above 60. Somehow it got capped. I even tried starting in safe mode to reset the settings to default and it doesn't work. Maybe I can delete an ini file or something.

Check your NvCP settings. I Had same issue (RTX4080) and it was caused by "Low Latency Mode" set to "Ultra", after I changed it to "ON" my fps went back to 120+.

Same issue. Doesn't fix it. As long as the game is running, the vertical refresh is stuck at 60Hz. I even alt+tab to desktop, try different refresh rates and it looks like its locked at 60Hz.

Fixed this problem by fiddling with my monitors resolution

Same issue, was sitting over 100fps on ultra during my first session, and now I can't even crack 80 on low. No idea what changed.
