cant even play the game

ya know my favorite part of the game? the fact i cant even play the $100 thing i payed for, ive tried every single troubleshooting option i can think of but every single time, renderer startup error, english: missing vulkan device extensions. my graphics card, and gup are up to date, my system SHOULD be able to handle the game just fine, and yet, here i am.

Edit - I see.
Did you check the system requirements before you bought the game? It requires a Hardware Raytracing capable GPU.

I sympathize.

Just submitted my refund. I've got a GTX 1080 and this game requires a GPU with built in raytracing extensions or whatever.

First time since I bought the thing in 2016 that it couldn't run a game. The 1080 was/is a champ - able to run most current games on medium or high settings at acceptable frame rates. Guess I'll have to wait until I upgrade my card.

LOL 3 years. The RX 5700 XT was originally released in July 2019. It's a 5 year old GPU at this point. I get what you mean but it's actually pretty old.

Next time read the system requirements before buying a game. Requires a GPU with raytracing in order to play.
