That is the devs fault in that case, not those with still decent computers for today.
Ray Tracing is becoming more common and so is DLSS, this is the first game to require it, its a high end game meant for higher end rigs.
Dont blame the devs for making a modern game,
I barely notice the difference using Ray Tracing, Path Tracing is where I notice the most difference but still not enough to warrant loosing 60% of your FPS.
I'm sorry but what 2 year old GPU does not support ray tracing? Or did you buy a computer 2 years ago with a 10 year old GPU?
I agree they could have said it sooner. I also noticed that you didn't answer my question. Maybe you realized your argument wasn't very good so you pivoted to something else. Who knows?
No, you didn't answer my question about which 2 year old GPU does not support RT. Also, if you think two games running on the same engine will always perform the same you really don't know much about how games work. And just to be clear, it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with optimization.
I've seen better looking games few years ago, without forcing the need for RT.
They can eat s***.
Yea they did't want to optimize it as much so the dlss and framegen is there to get the frames up.
